Cheryl Corbett put herself through school, graduated with highest honors, earned a CPA designation and has been an avid volunteer since the summer of 1995.
Cheryl spent that summer at the YMCA at Rocky Mountain National Park. She learned the true meaning of patience while working with physically disabled adults and watching their approach to everyday life. This made her realize how blessed she had been her whole life. A veil was lifted and Cheryl never took anything or anyone for granted again. This background prepared her well for entry into the fast paced corporate world. She was always a self-starter and never afraid to tackle any challenge. She took them all in stride and laughter was never far behind. After ten years of searching for fulfillment in a corporate career she realized something was missing. Cheryl became conscious to the fact that the world of finance and accounting was not her cup of tea. She could not find the personal satisfaction she longed for. This made her sad.
She remembered Rocky Mountain National Park and its grand allure. She longed for the beauty and wonder of nature. It ignited a passion and a lifelong pursuit to visit all the National Parks.
